Mirror of Scarlet Desire Weekly Farming Guide in Aion 2 (4 อ่าน)
23 พ.ค. 2569 16:05
The Mirror of Scarlet Desire has quickly become one of the most important weekly activities in Season 3 of Aion 2. Ever since NCSoft increased the weekly Transcendence reward limit from 7 clears to 14, this dungeon turned from a simple progression stop into something players are expected to farm consistently every week.
If you are trying to build endgame Arcana sets or keep up with Season 3 progression, this dungeon is basically mandatory content now. The good news is that once your group understands the mechanics, weekly farming becomes much smoother and faster than most players expect.
Why This Dungeon Matters So Much
The biggest reason players are farmingMirror of Scarlet Desire every week is the Noble Crystals (Bound) reward. These crystals are used to craft several of the strongest Season 3 Arcana sets currently available.
The main targets are:
Punishing Overture
Protected Soul
Indomitable Dedication
Because crafting requirements are fairly high, missing weekly clears slows progression noticeably. With the cap now doubled to 14 runs, players can gear up much faster than before if they stay consistent.
For a lot of players, this dungeon has become part of the standard weekly routine alongside raids and other Transcendence activities.
Recommended Weekly Farming Routine
Clear All 14 Weekly Entries
The first priority is simple: use every available weekly entry.
Even if your group is not pushing for rankings, completing all 14 runs gives a huge amount of progression materials over time. Skipping runs now feels much more punishing because the reward ceiling is significantly higher than previous seasons.
Most groups handle this by splitting runs across several days instead of trying to grind everything in one session.
Save Stagger Skills for the Final Phase
One of the most common reasons farming groups fail is wasting stagger skills too early.
During the final phase against Kromede, players only have around 20 seconds to cross the platform and successfully stagger the boss before the wipe mechanic triggers. If the party used all major stagger abilities earlier, the run can collapse instantly.
Experienced groups usually assign stagger responsibility before the pull begins. That way everyone knows exactly which cooldowns are reserved for the last phase.
Prioritize Higher Stage Clears
Stages 2 and 3 are especially valuable because they improve ranking points and provide better chances at higher-tier Arcana rewards from the Odyle Energy Cube.
A lot of players focus only on fast clears, but optimizing rewards matters more over an entire week of farming. If your party can consistently handle the higher stages without excessive wipes, the extra rewards are worth the slightly longer clear times.
Core Mechanics Every Farming Group Needs to Learn
The dungeon becomes very manageable once your group masters the core mechanics. Most wipes happen because players panic or fail to recognize patterns quickly enough.
Here are the mechanics that matter most for reliable weekly farming.
Shape Matching and Lantern Mechanic
This mechanic appears simple at first, but it still causes unnecessary wipes in random groups.
A geometric shape appears beneath your character. You need to move to the matching pad near the boss while also helping destroy the correct lantern.
Purple lanterns should always be prioritized immediately. If players hesitate or attack the wrong target, the room quickly becomes chaotic.
The easiest way to handle this mechanic is to keep camera movement minimal and focus only on your assigned side of the room. Overreacting usually causes more mistakes than the mechanic itself.
The Safe Mirror Reflection Mechanic
Starting around 75% HP, Kromede teleports to the center and summons eight mirrors around the arena.
This is probably the mechanic that new players struggle with the most during early farming attempts.
The trick is simple once you understand what to look for:
Seven mirrors contain reflections
One mirror contains no reflection at all
The mirror without a reflection is the only safe location
An important detail many players miss is that the safe mirror will always be one of the four mirrors positioned relative to the room corners near the main entrance side.
Once your group understands this positioning rule, reaction time improves dramatically and the mechanic becomes far less stressful.
