u4gm Hardcore Mode Character Planning: Defensive Passive Tree Design in PoE 3.26 (16 อ่าน)

24 มิ.ย. 2568 15:37

Hardcore (HC) mode in PoE 3.26 requires a drastically different mindset than softcore play. Every decision in your passive tree must prioritize survival. One misstep, and your character is gone for good.

Start with a class that offers strong baseline survivability—Juggernaut, Champion, and Hierophant are all great options. These classes have ascendancies that boost physical damage reduction, block, PoE 1 Currency and regeneration, which can be mirrored in passive planning.

Life and resistances come first. “Constitution,” “Barbarism,” and “Sanctity” are early targets, as they provide large life pools and resistance. Armor-based paths are safer in HC than evasion due to their predictability under pressure.

Layered defenses should be your core philosophy. Use passive tree nodes to get spell suppression, block, and ailment immunity. Small notables like “Instinct” or “Melding” can save you from sudden elemental bursts.

Plan around keystones such as “Unwavering Stance” (stun immunity) or “Iron Reflexes” (armor conversion). These can help you tank dangerous mobs and boss mechanics, reducing the threat of instant death.

Even your damage should come with defensive trade-offs. Skills like Cyclone or RF allow for movement or tankiness, and should be paired with passive clusters that also grant life or recovery.

Your final tree should have multiple jewel sockets for life-based jewels. This flexibility is vital in HC where PoE Currency each piece of gear may vary and require balancing resistances or attributes.

A defensive passive tree doesn’t mean low DPS—it means smart layering and durability. With this mindset, HC becomes not only survivable but deeply rewarding.
