My Volkswagen Golf has developed this rattling noise when the engine is idling, especially after I start it in the morning. It sounds like something loose under the hood, not loud but noticeable. Once I start driving it mostly goes away, or maybe the road noise covers it. I am not sure if this is something serious or just an old car being old.
