Well it finally happened, my 2017 Cayenne Diesel has developed the dreaded air suspension fault that I've been dreading ever since I bought the thing. I got in the car this morning and the dashboard lit up with a warning saying "chassis system faulty" and the car was sitting noticeably lower on the rear passenger side, not completely on the bump stops but definitely not right. The compressor seems to be running more often than usual too which makes me think there's a leak somewhere rather than just a sensor issue. I've been reading up on this and it seems like it could be anything from a leaky air strut to a faulty valve block or even just a cracked airline, which is basically a nightmare to diagnose without the right equipment and experience. The thing is I really don't want to take it to the dealer because I've heard horror stories about the cost of Porsche air suspension repairs and I've also heard that some independents can do just as good a job for a fraction of the price if you know where to go. Any advice or recommendations would be massively appreciated because I'm pretty stressed about this whole situation.
