Slow crank, then nothing, dashboard lights flickering like crazy. I managed to jump it and took it for a drive to get some charge, but I know this battery is finished. I'm just frustrated because I expected a battery to last longer than two years, especially since I paid extra for a "premium" battery that was supposed to have a longer lifespan. The Tahoe has the 5.3L V8 and I've heard these big engines can be hard on batteries, especially with all the electronics and the stop-start system. I also wonder if the heat here in Abu Dhabi is just too much for some batteries, I've read that high temperatures can accelerate the chemical reactions inside the battery and shorten its life significantly. I'm thinking of finding a shop that specializes in American SUVs and knows what battery works best for the Tahoe in this climate. I'm looking for the Best Chevrolet battery garage in Abu Dhabi that can tell me exactly what battery I need and install it properly. I don't want to just go to any place and end up with another battery that dies in two years. I also want to make sure they check the charging system and the alternator to make sure there's nothing else causing the issue. Has anyone here with a Tahoe or Suburban had a similar experience and found a shop that does good work? I'd appreciate some recommendations because I need to get this sorted soon. Also, does the Tahoe need any kind of battery registration or coding when you install a new one, or is it just a simple swap?</span></span>
